SC Teller Training CD 2.0 Now Available

Feature Highlight: ID Swipe for CTR Information Gathering

CTRs just got easier with the ID swipe feature in SC Enterprise Suite. Information can be collected quickly by swiping the magnetic strip on a customers driver's license or ID card.

In beta test environments, customers noticed improved service. They liked the fact that their identification information is collected quickly and their ID card is returned to them promptly.

Obtaining ID information via the magnetic strip has other benefits. It increases accuracy, decreases the risk of fraudulent ID cards, and enables tracking of multiple transactions performed by the same individual.

The magnetic strip relieves a major burden of reporting. SC Enterprise Suite tracks the transactions by an individual's ID and aggregates them at the end of the day to determine if an individual has reached the reporting limit.

Traditional methods of collecting this information result in increased human error or erroneous information, allow no link between separate transactions performed by a single individual, and burden the bank with pen and paper entry.

Bilingual Customer Documents Available from SC Enterprise Suite

Synergy Technology recently introduced bilingual customer document printing from SC Teller. All customer receipts and notices are now available to print in either Spanish or English.

At the touch of a button, the teller can change the language of the customer document they are printing. Both English and Spanish documents can be printed from the same workstation at the teller's discretion. The teller can also change languages on reprints.

SC MICR features the option of producing bilingual official checks with instructions in both English and Spanish.
